Abstract:In the study of statistical process control, the reliability of products is closely related to the field environment. However, in the monitoring of multiple products, little attention has been paid to the different field environments of each product in control charts. The traditional control chart generally assumes that the data stream of each product follows certain distribution with the same parameter, while in real life, different field environments make such assumption invalid. This paper proposed a new control chart based on the likelihood ratio statistic. This statistic takes account of the variability of the product failure rate caused by the difference in the field environment, which can be used for overall reliability monitoring. Simulation results show that the control chart have good detection capability in different sample sizes and environmental differences.
