Abstract:The enterprise sustainable development capability of is the ability to maintain operating advantages and keep growing in the enterprise developing process. For electric power enterprises, it has great significance for enterprise to make strategies and improve their competitiveness. On the basis of the characteristics of electric power enterprises, we build an evaluation system for enterprise sustainable development capability from four factors, like ecological environment protection, service quality, technological competitiveness and market layout. The methods of comprehensive evaluation model are chosen the entropy weight method and the complex scale evaluation (COPARS) method, and six representative power enterprises are selected for empirical analysis and application. The results show that the index of "authorized patent growth rate in that year", which represents the technical competitiveness and innovation capability, has the largest weight in the evaluation model, and the sustainable development capability of STATE GRID Corporation of China is at the "medium" level, which still has great potential to improve. This model can be referred, when electric power enterprises make the sustainable development strategies, to achieve targeted goals and improve management efficiency.
