Abstract:Innovation-led development of new ear puts forward new requirements for cultivating and optimizing the innovation ecosystem. It is necessary to accurately and objectively evaluate the health status of regional innovation ecosystem. Based on the theory of innovation ecosystem, this paper improves the traditional niche-fitness model by introducing principal components analytic method to solve multiple mutual linear problem as well as constructing a new evaluation index system from the aspect of openness, synergy, sustainability and growth which is more close to the characteristics of the organic and evolutionary nature of the innovation ecosystem compared with the traditional index system. At the same time, from the two perspectives of descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, paper carries out health assessment for innovation ecosystem in different regions of provincial and municipal level. The results show that the models and indicators are suitable, and the imbalance of regional innovation ecosystem health in China is still aggravating. The cultivation and optimization of innovation ecosystem should focus on long-term success, highlight new growth poles, form endogenous motivation, and promote the integration and symbiosis of innovative actors.
