Abstract:Abstract: Taking the generation and utilization of solid waste in China from 1999 to 2016 as samples, this thesis explores the decoupling between the generation and utilization of solid waste and economic growth from a quantitative expression of solid waste generation and utilization and economy–based on the IGT equation. The results show that the average decoupling index of solid waste production in China is 0.2, 0.23 and 0.6 respectively and all of which are in the state of relative decoupling; the average decoupling index of solid waste utilization is-0.2, -0.01, 0.7, which is the transition from unhooked state to decoupling state in the three periods of the 10th Five-year Plan, the Eleventh Five-year Plan and the 12th Five-year Plan. This thesis fully analyzes the generation and utilization of solid waste in China in recent years through the study of decoupling index of solid waste generation and utilization, which provides a reference for further improving the utilization rate of solid waste.
