Abstract:Electronic information manufacturing is the foundation of the information industry and plays an important leading role in China's intelligent manufacturing and industrial transformation and upgrading. Based on the sample of 29 provinces in China, this paper uses the DEA-BCC model to analyze the efficiency of China's electronic information manufacturing industry in 2016, and uses the DEA-Malmquist index method to measure the change of total factor productivity in 2010-2016. The research finds that the efficiency of China's electronic information manufacturing industry is the highest in Southwest China and the lowest in Northeast China; the difference in pure technical efficiency between regions is higher than the difference in scale efficiency; there is a significant difference in the growth rate of TFP between regions; many regions are facing instability in industrial development. It is recommended to promote inter-regional industrial transfer and factor flow, build an innovation network across industries, regions, and departments, and improve the electronic information manufacturing policy system according to local conditions.
