Abstract:Based on Web of Science-SSCI/SCI database, this paper makes a quantitative analysis of 346 international literatures on standardization and governance from 1998 to 2017. By using CiteSpace software to analyze the social relations of relevant scholars and institutions from the micro and meso angles respectively, the research hotspots are obtained by co-occurrence analysis of keywords and disciplines, and the evolution of the research is clarified. The results show that the heat of standardization and governance research in the world is increasing, and 2006-2015 is a period of leap-forward development of the subject, with rich results. However, the research content of this topic is scattered, the interdisciplinary characteristics are obvious, the cooperation between scholars and institutions is less, and the contributions of Chinese scholars are less. Standards can be effective in governance mainly through management activities, in recent years, the research perspective of standardization and governance has risen to the organizational, government, enterprise and even international level, involving corporate governance, market governance, government governance, urban governance, transnational governance, social management and so on.
