Abstract:In the era of innovation networking, the decisions of corporate R&D investment are influenced by other members in the same network. This paper uses fsQCA method to study the path of network membership, knowledge search and search strategy affecting enterprises to improve R&D investment. We analyzes the difference in improving R&D investment between high-innovation-preference enterprise and low-innovation-preference enterprise. This research founds two paths to promote low-innovation-preference enterprise to increase R&D investment and the three paths to promote innovation-oriented enterprise to increase R&D investment. The conclusions will provide a theoretical basis for implementing network management to promote enterprise's R&D investment, and also provide a valuable idea for improving management of innovation network.
