Abstract:In order to further explore the path of industrial power efficiency improvement, this paper uses the common frontier data envelopment analysis method to calculate the industrial electricity efficiency value of each province from 1995 to 2016 based on the industrial panel data of 30 provinces in China. Then, through the global Moran index test and Moran scatter plot analysis, it is found that the electrical efficiency value has a significant spatial correlation. This paper uses the spatial Dubin model to empirically analyze the effects of knowledge spillovers, per capita capital investment, technological progress, industrial structure, electricity prices and economic development on industrial electricity efficiency. It is found that the impact of knowledge spillovers on industrial electricity efficiency is not significant; per capita capital investment and technological progress have a significant negative impact on industrial electricity efficiency; industrial structure, electricity price and economic development level have a significant positive impact on the improvement of industrial electricity efficiency.
