Abstract:Based on the registration data of patent transfer, license and pledge of the National Intellectual Property Administration of China, making the patent transaction and operation activities of China's scientific research institutes in 2008—2017 as the analysis objects, the overall trend of patent operation, operation mode, industry and technology distribution, industrialization speed and the status of technology inflow and outflow are analyzed synthetically and quantificationally about the characteristics of technology transfer in Chinese research institutes. Results show that, Since 2008, the number of patent operations in China's scientific research institutes has grown rapidly; the patent operation activities in high—tech fields have become more active; the applied technologies whose value are easy to accurately evaluate and technology are easy to implement tend to be transferred or licensed; the industrialization time—lag of the patent right transfer whose forms are more flexible, is shorter; patent operations in research institutes in eastern provinces are always more active than those in western provinces.
