Abstract:As an important province among intersections along the “Belt and Road”, Jiangsu combines the foundations and advantages of existing international innovation cooperation, focusing on important sectors and key countries along the “Belt and Road” from the Commonwealth of Independent States, Central and Eastern Europe, ASEAN and Israel. Scientific and technological innovation cooperation has achieved fruitful results in fields of industrial R D cooperation, international technology transfer, co-construction of innovation carriers, and communication mechanism construction, and effectively promotes the production capacity cooperation faced by countries along the “Belt and Road” through scientific and technological innovation collaboration. However, the depth and breadth of Jiangsu"s participation in the “Belt and Road” technology innovation cooperation still has great limitations. The synergy between Jiangsu"s “Industrial Technology Innovation Center of Global Influence” and the “Belt and Road” Initiative is obviously insufficient. On account of the research on the mode of internationally scientific and technological innovation cooperation under the “Belt and Road” strategy, this paper combines the global competitiveness rating of countries along the “Belt and Road” to implement statistical analysis focusing on industrial R D cooperation and academic research cooperation between Jiangsu Province and related countries along the “Belt and Road”. On this basis, the practical experience of Jiangsu"s participation in the “Belt and Road” cooperation has been summarized and considered, which provides a useful reference for further deepening the “Belt and Road” innovation cooperation and technology transfer in Jiangsu.
