Abstract:[Objective] To analyze the current situation and existing problems of the promotion of science and technology reports in China, and take Guangdong Province, which ranks the first in the country in terms of the total amount of science and technology reports, as an example, to carry out in-depth research, so as to put forward practical ways of publicity and promotion, so as to improve the popularity and utilization rate of science and technology reports. [Methods] Using the methods of network investigation, bibliometrics and visual analysis, the current situation and existing problems of science and technology report promotion in main provinces in China were analyzed. [Results] It was concluded that the main reasons for the far from ideal use and influence range of scientific and technological reports were the lack of receiving and feedback mechanism, unclear promotion positioning and single promotion mode. Based on this, this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures from three aspects: broadening the feedback channel, finding out the promotion positioning and diversified promotion paths, and focuses on five promotion strategies, namely, training promotion, platform promotion, community promotion, new media promotion and outsourcing promotion, from three paths of independent promotion, cooperative promotion and third-party promotion.[Conclusion]The promotion of science and technology report is still in its infancy, and the task of promotion is a long way to go.
