Abstract:Based on ambidexterity theory and competitive advantage theory, this study selects Chinese manufacturing as the research sample, and divides ambidextrous green innovation into exploratory green innovation and exploitative green innovation. Then the relationship of exploratory and exploitative green innovations, firms’ customer advantage, technological advantage and financial advantage are discussed, and the moderating role of technological turbulence is examined. The empirical results of 221 manufacturing firms show that exploratory green innovation and exploitative green innovation have significant positive effects on firms’ customer advantage, technological advantage and financial advantage; Meanwhile, technological turbulence not only positively moderates the relationship between exploratory green innovation, firms’ customer advantage and technological advantage, but also positively moderates the relationship between exploitative green innovation and firms’ customer advantage and financial advantage.
