Abstract:This paper takes the Classification of Intellectual Property (Patent) Intensive Industry Statistics (2019) issued by The National Statistics Bureau of our country as the entry point, combined with the latest official report of intellectual property intensive industry in 2016 of the United States and the European Union, compares and analyzes the identification methods of intellectual property intensive industry in China, the United States and Europe, and compares the specific subdivision industries covered by intellectual property intensive industry horizontally. The research finds that the current intellectual property-intensive identification method in China is insufficient in breadth and depth, and the specific industry structure is single and the characteristics are not obvious. The paper studies the management methods such as recognition and classification of intellectual property intensive industries in the United States and Europe, in order to provide reference for our country to formulate the identification methods of various types of intellectual property intensive industries with both international standards and Chinese characteristics, and to establish and improve the industrial development plan.
