Abstract:Through the case study of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., this paper explores the formation path of its internationalization capabilities in a paradox perspective, and analyzes the process from four aspects: technical cooperation, technology independence, market cooperation and market independence, reveals the unique competitive resource paradox coping strategies of Chinese enterprises. The results show that under the paradox of technological and market competitive resources, the enterprises can promote the formation of international capabilities by adopting paradox buffering strategies and stimulating strategies on both sides of the conflict. Continuing paradox carrying is beneficial to buffering the enterprises’ paradox conflicts, and finally to achieve the balance and integration of the international technology and market capabilities. The research proposes a model for the internationalization capability formation path, in order to provide strategic reference for the transnational operation of Chinese enterprises.
