Abstract:Based on the inductive theory, a theoretical model of reverse innovation based on ambidextrous innovation and global innovation network is proposed based on the comparative study of leading multinationals and domestic latecomers, which shows how the two types of enterprises realize reverse innovation based on ambidextrous innovation and global innovation network. The results show that in the stage of reverse innovation production, the two types of enterprises adopt different combination modes of ambidextrous innovation and global innovation network: leading multinationals need to strengthen exploitative innovation, build local external network and enhance the depth of openness, while domestic latecomers need to strengthen explorative innovation, build global innovation network and enhance the breadth of openness. In addition, ambidextrous innovation and global innovation network constitute an interactive and collaborative development system, which has a superposition effect on reverse innovation. It provides reference for different enterprises to realize reverse innovation.
