Abstract:Existing incubator performance studies mostly take national science and technology parks and other entrepreneurship carriers as the object of empirical data acquisition, lack of research on start-up business incubator carriers.From the perspective of business ecosystem and using data envelopment method, the research evaluated operational efficiency of 12 selected start-up business incubators. It is found that there are some problems in start-up business incubators, such as poor complementarity of ecosystem resources, poor openness and sharing, and weak professional ability of service teams, which seriously affect the improvement of their efficiency. Therefore, this paper focuses on optimizing the strategic layout of ecosystems and optimizing the ecosystem. Improvement measures are put forward in terms of system capability structure, building an open and compatible ecosystem service system and establishing a professional brand reputation.
