Abstract:Diffusion of technological innovation is the transmitter and amplifier of innovation-driven development. By extending the distance variables that affect innovation diffusion from traditional spatial distance to time distance and social distance, The distribution characteristics of innovation diffusion are analyzed from the perspective of multi-dimensional distance. Through theoretical analysis and field investigation, The static results of saturation diffusion of technological innovation show an "island" distribution composed of multiple enterprise clusters in space. These "islands" are the result of proximity diffusion of "seed enterprises" formed by inverse proximity diffusion. In terms of time distance, it shows the proximity of time in the same region and the dispersion of time between different regions. The proximity of all adopters to direct diffusion sources is shown in social distance. The proximity of all adopters to direct diffusion sources is shown in social distance
