Abstract:Cold-chain logistics of fresh agricultural products consumes a large amount of energy, and its carbon emission is high, the research on cold-chain logistics of fresh agricultural products has become an important subject under constrains on carbon emission. In this paper, three-stage DEA model is used to measure the efficiency of fresh agricultural products cold-chain logistics in the Yangtze River Economic Belt under carbon constraints in 2012-2017, and the convergence of the inter-provincial efficiency differences is analyzed by using σ convergence and β convergence models. The results show that the efficiency of fresh agricultural products cold-chain logistics in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has been increasing year by year, but overall efficiency is still low, low scale efficiency is the main reason that constricts the improvement of comprehensive technical efficiency; there is not only σ convergence in the fresh agricultural products cold-chain logistics efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, but also β convergence. The industrial structure can promote the conditional β convergence of the whole Yangtze River Economic Belt and the four provinces in the middle reaches. The level of logistics specialization can significantly promote the conditional β convergence of the downstream regions of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Accordingly, the paper puts some suggestions to improve the efficiency of agricultural products cold-chain logistics in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, including strengthening low-carbon cold chain logistics infrastructure construction, improving the level of information technology application and increasing the degree of regional opening to the outside world.
