Abstract:Based on the common boundary technology and sequential SBM-DEA efficiency model, this paper calculates the efficiency of industrial solid waste treatment in 11 provinces and cities of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and 19 provinces (districts and cities) in other regions of China from 2008 to 2017, and analyzes the regional differences of technical efficiency and group efficiency under the common boundary. The results show that the efficiency of industrial solid waste treatment in China is low on the whole, and the efficiency of industrial solid waste treatment in the Yangtze Economic Belt is lower than that in other regions; the main reasons for the low efficiency of industrial solid waste treatment in the Yangtze Economic Belt are redundant investment in treatment funds, excessive discharge of pollutants, and the low comprehensive reuse rate and treatment rate of solid waste. Finally, in order to improve the efficiency of industrial solid waste treatment in China, the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions, such as carrying out supervision and management system, scientifically compiling development plan, setting up "one game of chess" thought and overall view, perfecting industrial solid waste treatment system and so on.
