Abstract:With 31 provinces and cities in China as the space research unit, construct a prefabricated building development level evaluation system based on the four aspects of the basic environment of prefabricated building development, production and construction strength, technological innovation level, and sustainable development potential. Using mean-variance weighting method, exploratory spatial data analysis, geographic weighted regression models to explore the characteristics of spatial differences in the development level of Chinese fabricated buildings and analyze the influencing factors. The results show that:(1) from the perspective of spatial distribution characteristics, the development level of prefabricated buildings is generally low, and the spatial distribution is significantly different, forming a spatial pattern that decreases from east to west.(2) From the perspective of spatial correlation characteristics, there is a phenomenon of spatial agglomeration in the development level of prefabricated buildings, which are mainly distributed in the High-High regions of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and other provinces, and the Low-Low regions of Mongolia, Xin, and Ning provinces.(3) From the perspective of the influencing factors, there are obvious spatial differences in the impact of the development level of prefabricated buildings. The rankings are: market demand> environmental protection expenditure> government-oriented> economic level> technology innovation> population concentration> industrial structure > Transportation logistics environment> Construction cost.
