Abstract:As a national science and technology innovation center, Beijing also gathers the highest quality science popularization resources. Based on the panel + time series data, this paper uses the correlation analysis method to focus on analyzing the attraction of talents, funds, and infrastructure to the audience of popular science bases. The results show that the venue area, the initial non-financial capital investment and the number of professional and technical personnel are the important factors that determine the attractiveness of the popular science base. At the same time, the data also show that there is a large difference in the distribution of science popularization resources between the six urban districts and the suburbs of Beijing. According to the results of data analysis, this paper gives some suggestions for the construction, function and service promotion of popular science base in the future.
