Abstract:In view of the problem of food security and the realistic need of sustainable development of mariculture areas, based on the basis of considering non-expected outputs and the data from 10 provinces and cities along China's coast from 2008 to 2018, this paper uses the stochastic frontier model in the form of transcendental logarithmic production function to measure the green technical efficiency of mariculture areas and analyze its influencing factors. It is found that the green technology efficiency of 10 provinces in 2008-2018 increases year by year, showing an upward trend, but the average green technology efficiency is 0.708, which has certain potential. Among them, in the time dimension, the average efficiency of green technology in 10 provinces and cities is in the range of 0.600~0.850, and the change of efficiency growth rate shows obvious volatility characteristics; in the spatial dimension, the green technology efficiency of 10 provinces shows the pattern of high in the East and Central, low in the North and South; and in terms of influencing factors, mariculture waters, mariculture methods, and the level of economic development have a positive effect, and mariculture specie has a negative effect.
