Abstract:Cross-regional collaborative innovation is conducive to promoting the coordinated development of regional innovation, realizing regional complementarity and improving regional innovation performance. This paper studies the interface management problems formed in cross-regional collaborative innovation. The results show, from the cross-regional perspective, the main factors of interface contradictions and conflicts in the process of collaborative innovation can be roughly attributed to administrative barriers, economic development level, culture and value, knowledge and skill required, organizational subsystem relationships and space distance. It is proposed that the cross-regional collaborative innovation platform with physical presence can solve the interface contradictions and conflicts between the cross-regional collaborative interactions well. This paper takes thecultivation and development of strategic emerging industries as an example and thus, it proposes to establishthe independent innovation zone of cross-regional strategic emerging industries. At the same time of describing the functions and characteristicsof the zone, it also designs the guarantee mechanism.
