Abstract:Under the new economic background, as the most innovative and energetic high-tech industry in China"s manufacturing industry, higher engineering education is urgently needed to enhance its dynamic competitiveness. Based on the dynamic capability theory, this paper uses the ARDL-ECM model to study the stability relationship between China"s higher engineering education and the dynamic competitiveness of high-tech industries from 2000 to 2017. The results show that the engineering graduates of higher engineering education and the scientific research topics of universities have a significant impact on the dynamic competitiveness of high-tech industries. The intellectual property rights of colleges and universities have no significant impact on the dynamic competitiveness of high-tech industries. To this end, it is proposed to expand the scale of engineering graduate students, deepen the coordination of innovation in industry and education, and improve the transformation system of scientific and technological achievements.
