Abstract:In view of the problem of population aging, this paper analyzes and summarizes the main experience measures of Japan's scientific and technological innovation to deal with population aging, including the establishment and improvement of relevant laws, regulations and development strategies and technological innovations to enhance the well-being of older persons, the continuous improvement of the living environment and quality of the elderly through technological innovation to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of services for the elderly, and paying attention to the innovation of intelligent pension technology and promoting the development of pension service industry. In contrast, China has insufficient strategic response to the aging society, data barriers restricting the construction of pension information service network platform, urban and rural development of “Internet+" is seriously unbalanced and technological innovation lacks "old-oriented", and the well-being of the elderly scientific and technological innovation and other problems. Drawing on the experience of Japan and combining with the national conditions of China, the paper puts forward some suggestions on how to actively deal with the aging of the population in the aspects of scientific and technological innovation plan and action deployment, R&D investment, information technology and intelligent pension industry development, scientific and technological innovation talent team construction and the development of multi-level scientific and technological products for the elderly.
