Abstract:This paper constructed regional standardization level based on the composition of the standard system in China and standard development contribution index, incorporated the technological innovation and standardization to construct the expanded Solow model, analyzed the contribution rate of each input factor, including standardization, to economic growth, according to the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2001 to 2017. The results show that the contribution rates of each factor to economic growth are regionally different, which means that different factor-driven policies need to be implemented in different regions. The average annual growth rate and contribution rate to economic growth of technological innovation are in first place in all regions, which means that China"s innovation-driven strategy has played a significant role in the provincial level. The average annual growth rate of capital and labor inputs limit their contribution rates to economic growth. The contribution rate of standardization in regional economic growth is associated with the contribution of innovation, indicating that the contribution rate of standardization to economic growth still has a large room.
