现有研究关于信任与创新绩效之间的关系,存在正向和倒U两种不同假说,且各自具有其理论基础和实证支持。为揭开结论不一致的原因,基于交易成本理论和在位贡献理论,将信任区分为认知型信任和情感型信任以减小信任内涵的位移,并引入机会主义行为和内部地位感知作为中介变量,探讨不同类型信任对创新绩效的差异影响。基于257份企业样本的问卷调查数据,回归结果表明:认知型信任与创新绩效存在倒U型关系,机会主义行为在此关系中起到中介作用;情感型信任与创新绩效之间存在正向关系,内部地位感知在此关系中起到中介作用。实证结果揭示了不同类型的信任与创新绩效间的差异作用机制,证明了未能区分信任类型是造成信任研究结论不一致的重要原因。

There is inconsistent conclusions about the relationship between interorganizational trust and innovation performance - ranging from a positive relationship to an inverted U-shape relationship. Our paper is aimed to reconcile past indefinite results by decomposing interorganizational trust into affective trust and cognitive trust, and introducing opportunistic behavior and perceptions of insider as mediators. Based on the data from 257 enterprise, we find that: there is an inverted U-type relationship between cognitive trust and innovation performance in which opportunistic behavior plays a mediating role; there is a positive relationship between affective trust and innovation performance in which perceptions of insider plays a mediating role. The findings indicate that the inconsistent results of interorganizational trust - innovation performance are stem from the over-generalization of the concept of trust, that is, failing to divide the cognitive and affective trust.
