Abstract:Abstract: Green innovation has become an important strategic combination point to promote high-quality economic growth and realize ecological sustainable development. SBM model was used to measure the green innovation efficiency of high-tech industries in 28 provinces and cities in the mainland from 2008 to 2018. A panel threshold model with high-tech industry agglomeration as the threshold variable was built to empirically analyze the influence mechanism of innovation quality on the green innovation efficiency of high-tech industries. The results show that the efficiency of green innovation in domestic high-tech industries has been steadily improved during the research period, but there is still much room for improvement. The green innovation efficiency of high-tech industries has obvious spatial differences. The green innovation efficiency of eastern region higher than central region than western region; The effect of innovation quality on the efficiency of green innovation in high-tech industries has a double threshold effect based on the agglomeration level of high-tech industries. The scale of enterprises, the quality of workers and government behaviors have significant positive effects on the efficiency of green innovation, and opening to the outside world significantly inhibits the improvement of the efficiency of green innovation.
