国内外科技期刊关于新型冠状病毒报道的分析与思考

Analysis and reflection on novel coronavirus reports in scientific journals at home and abroad

摘要:

新型冠状病毒(COVID-19)的暴发引起了国内外学术界和期刊界的广泛关注,截至2020年月16日,国内外关于“新型冠状病毒”相关文献已超过4万条。本文选取具有代表性的英文网站数据库 “Web of Science”和中文网站数据库“中国知网” “中华医学期刊网”,通过文献检索的方式,检索了2020年1月1日至6月15日COVID-19相关科研成果在国内外期刊报道的情况,比较了国内外科技期刊在重大科研成果报道中的差异,并对热点文章进行了重点分析。结果表明,国内外期刊发表的文献总数量接近,均超过2万条；国际顶尖英文期刊《柳叶刀》上发表的论文影响力(单篇总被引频次最高达1 553次)远高于中文期刊(单篇总被引最高达185次)和国内较好的英文期刊(单篇总被引最高达241次)。我国英文科技期刊的数量和质量远远不能满足我国科研人员国际交流的需要,我国需要创办和培植更多更好的英文科技期刊,同时应该加快英文期刊数据库的建设。研究结果可为我国建设高水平国际一流的科技期刊提供思考和借鉴。

Abstract:

The outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has attracted a wide attention from academic and periodical circles at home and abroad. There were more than 40 thousand articles of COVID-19 in the world by June 15th in 2020. The representative website databases of “Web of science” , “CNKI” and“Chinese Medical Journal Network” were selected to search COVID-19 related scientific papers reported in domestic and foreign journals from January 1 to June 15 in 2020. The differences of reporting major scientific research achievements between domestic and foreign Sci-tech Journals were compared, and the hot articles were mainly analyzed. The results showed that the total number of papers published at home and abroad was close to more than 20 thousand. The influence of papers published in the international top English journal《The Lancet》 (the highest citation frequency of a single article was 1553 times) was far higher than that in Chinese journals (185 times) or English journals in China(241 times ). The quantity and quality of English sci-tech journals in China are far from meeting the needs of international exchanges for Chinese researchers. We needs to establish and cultivate more and better English sci-tech journals, and should speed up the construction of English journal database in China at the same time. The research results can provide a reference for constructing the high-level-world-class sci-tech periodicals in China.
