Abstract:With the deepening of economic globalization, emerging market multinational companies (EMNEs) have gradually risen and become global. In the process of international expansion of EMNEs, overseas subsidiaries play the function of "bridgehead" or "flagship store". EMNEs overseas subsidiaries How the company transfers the knowledge acquired in overseas markets back to the parent company in the process of international expansion, and enhances the parent company’s knowledge stock, thereby forming a global knowledge competitive advantage, which has become a major practical problem faced by EMNEs in the process of international expansion . This research draws on international expansion, subsidiary autonomy, knowledge management and other related theoretical studies. Based on the "springboard" theory, using exploratory multi-case studies, the theoretical model of "strategic asset search-overseas subsidiary autonomy-reverse knowledge transfer" is constructed , And deconstructed the three constructs of strategic asset search, overseas subsidiary autonomy, and reverse knowledge transfer, deepened the research on reverse knowledge transfer of overseas subsidiaries in the context of EMNEs, and enriched related research about knowledge transfer, international expansion and autonomy.
