Abstract:Under the background of economic globalization, standards have become one of the important factors affecting international trade. The effective design of standards not only promotes the reconstruction of trade rules, improves the quality of trade among countries, but also provides the basic compliance for the sound development of the world economic order. Through the systematic analysis of the relevant standard system research literature, this paper uses the grounded theory to analyze the factors that affect the standard formulation and form the promotion model of standards to trade. At the same time, the paper selects the import and export trade volume and relevant standard data from 2000 to 2018 to test the mediating effect. The results show that social enthusiasm, standard discourse power and other factors have a positive impact on standard formulation; standards play a mediating role in the influence of social enthusiasm and standard discourse power on international trade. Finally, suggestions are put forward for the formulation of standards.
