Abstract:Based on the 2009-2017 provincial panel data of agricultural scientific research institutions as the research object, this article analyzes the role of misallocation of agricultural technology resources and agricultural technology productivity from the intermediary perspective of technological innovation level. The research found that: first,The misallocation of agricultural science and technology resources can directly affect agricultural science and technology productivity, and it can also indirectly affect agricultural science and technology productivity through technological innovation. Second,From a regional perspective, the level of technological innovation in the eastern and central regions shows a partial mediating effect, while the mediating effect of the technological innovation level in the western region is not significant. Therefore, the policy measures to optimize the allocation of agricultural science and technology resources need to be transformed from "direct" to "indirect", focusing on improving the efficiency of agricultural science and technology resource allocation while paying more attention to the improvement of scientific and technological innovation capabilities.
