Abstract:Constructed a spatial lag panel smooth transformation model (AFSA-SLPSTR) based on artificial fish school algorithm, using panel data from 13 prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu Province from 2013 to 2017 , to analyze the impact of R&D investment on the high-quality development of Jiangsu’s economy. The results show that: the high-quality economic development in Jiangsu Province is positively correlated; The impact of R&D investment on the high-quality development of Jiangsu’s economy has significant non-linear characteristics, specifically in the form of a single transfer function and a single system; when the patent is below the threshold, the impact of R&D investment on the amount of economic development and development is significantly positive After exceeding the threshold, the promotion effect on the quality and quality of economic development will be weakened, especially the influence coefficient of R&D personnel investment on the quality of economic development will turn from positive to negative. Based on the research results, in order to better play the role of R&D investment in promoting the high-quality development of Jiangsu’s economy and promote the construction of an innovative Jiangsu, it is proposed to pay attention to the accumulation and spillover effects of high-quality economic development in the province, improve the quantity-based local patent assessment standards, scientifically and rationally allocate R&D investment and other countermeasures.
