Abstract:Based on the data of Hainan Province from 2009 to 2018, this paper constructs a comprehensive level evaluation index system of scientific and technological innovation environment and economic subsystem respectively, evaluates the comprehensive level of innovation environment and regional economy in Hainan Province by principal component analysis method, further calculates the macro coupling relationship between the two by using the coupling coordination degree model, and uses the grey correlation degree method to investigate the impact of various indicators of the economic system on the innovation environment, so as to reveal the micro coupling mechanism at the index level. It is found that the overall innovation environment and regional economic level of Hainan Province are constantly improving, the two systems have experienced three stages: from poor-quality high coupling, medium-quality high coupling to high-quality high coupling, from extremely uncoordinated to highly coordinated; among the economic factors, general economic environmental factors such as regional GDP have the strongest impact on the innovation environment, high-tech industry has the weakest impact on innovation environment. According to this, the paper puts forward that Hainan Province deserves the attention of innovative talents at home and abroad; in order to improve Hainan's innovation environment, we should first devote ourselves to the development of regional economy; give more support to high-tech industries to promote their greater innovation impact; and further promote the coordinated development of Hainan's scientific and technological innovation and regional economy, etc.
