Abstract:In-depth interviews were conducted for technology entrepreneurship education in colleges in China, and the data from the in-depth interviews were analyzed and categorized to obtain 4 major influencing factors and 18 sub-categories of specific correlated factors. Based on the conclusions above, a model of technology entrepreneurship education in colleges is constructed. The results of the completeness and extensibility tests on the in-depth interview data using the questionnaire data show that the in-depth interview data are in good agreement with the questionnaire data, so the questionnaire data have good extensibility, further indicating that the model has strong completeness. Through the cross-validation of the two kinds of data, it is initially shown that the model of university technology entrepreneurship education is scientifically valid, but limited by the sample number, further validation is needed for the completeness of the model. Finally, three suggestions are put forward for science and technology entrepreneurship education in colleges, including constructing a governance model of industry-university-research linkage, strengthening the practical links in the curriculum of scientific research and entrepreneurship education in colleges, and increasing the input of scientific research capabilities of colleges and universities in the direction of technology application development.
