Abstract:The regional talent eco-environment has an important impact on the flow and agglomeration of talents. How to improve the talent retention ability of international engineering enterprises in host countries according to local conditions to promote sustainable development of international engineering enterprises and host countries has become an urgent need to promote the construction of the "the Belt and Road" Based on Lewin's field theory and ERG theory, following the logic of "external environment-psychological cognition-behavioral tendency", this paper discusses the influence of host country's talent eco-environment on talents' intention to stay through mediating variable talent growth expectation. The results show that: (1) Among the four dimensions of host country's talent eco-environment, economic development environment, living environment, and cultural environment have a positive impact on talents' intention to stay; (2) Economic development environment, living environment, human policy environment, and cultural environment have a positive impact on talent growth expectation; (3) Talent growth expectation has a positive impact on talents' intention to stay; (4) Talent growth expectation has mediating effects in host country's talent eco-environment and talents' intention to stay; (5) The total effects of host country's talent eco-environment and talent growth expectation on talents' intention to stay are listed in descending order: economic development environment, cultural environment, living environment, human policy environment, talent growth expectation.
