Abstract:The Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China put forward the requirement of "improving the science and technology evaluation system". The construction of an efficient and standardized science and technology evaluation system has become an important symbol of the modernization of China's science and technology governance system and governance capacity. Based on the periodical papers in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database from 2017 to 2019, this paper reveals the distribution and evolution characteristics of research hotspots in the field of science and technology evaluation recently, analyzes the relevance between the academic research and the direction of national reform, and presents the main research institutions and their cooperative relations. The study puts forward four suggestions for the future reform of China's science and technology evaluation system, including adhering to policy guidance, establishing industry consensus, strengthening method exploration, and promoting the combination of evaluation research and application.
