Abstract:Based on the cooperative patent data of Chinese Academy of Sciences, this paper constructs the patent cooperation network, analyzes the evolution of patent cooperation situation and city scale cooperation network, and discusses the influence of network characteristics on innovation performance. The results show that: ①Patent cooperation maintains a rapid growth trend, the development process presents three-stage characteristics, and the trend of patent cooperation transferring from traditional industries to high-tech industries is more obvious. ②The spatial distribution of patent cooperation is significantly different, mainly concentrated in the eastern and central regions, followed by the northeast region and the western region. ③The degree centrality, intermediate centrality, and proximity centrality have a significant inverted U-shaped relationship with the innovation performance of the current period, lag phase I and lag phase II, while the structural hole has a significant U-shaped relationship with the innovation performance of the current period, lag phase I and lag phase II.
