Abstract:Improving the high-quality development of mariculture is an important part of the high-quality development of the marine economy at this stage, and intertidal mudflat culture has become an important factor affecting the high-quality development of mariculture. On the basis of considering undesired output, this paper uses the SBM-GML model to measure the green total factor productivity of mariculture in 10 coastal provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions) of China from 2008 to 2018, and further studies the impact of intertidal mudflat culture on the growth of green total factor productivity of mariculture. It is found that the green total factor productivity of mariculture fluctuates between 0.9-1.15, and the overall trend is rising, and there are significant regional differences in productivity, showing the characteristics of regional imbalance. The intertidal mudflat culture has a negative impact on the growth of green total factor productivity of mariculture. The reasons for the negative impact mainly include three aspects of mariculture species, mariculture methods, and management. Based on this, relevant suggestions for improving intertidal mudflat culture are put forward from three aspects: efficiently using the existing intertidal mudflat culture area, actively establishing a intertidal mudflat culture composite aquaculture ecosystem, and improving the management level of intertidal mudflat culture.
