Abstract:Construction of "World-Class Urban Agglomeration "—— Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is rich in the connotation of the basic principle of" One country, Two systems ", and it is also a necessary practice for further deepening the national strategy of reform and opening up. Using multivariate linear regression and entropy method and combined with coupling coordination degree model and spatial autocorrelation Moran's I index, the evolution law of coupling coordination degree and spatial distribution between Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area foreign trade and Scientific-Technical progress in 2010-2019 was studied. The results show that although there is a coupling relationship between foreign trade and Scientific-Technical progress in all involved regions, the degree of coupling coordination is quite different, the level of Scientific-Technical progress lags behind seriously, and the overall benign coupling coordination level still needs to be improved. In addition, the spatial spillover effect of the coupling coordination degree between the two is extremely obvious, and the coupling coordination range of all levels shows signs of rising, which indirectly reflects the promoting effect of Scientific-Technical progress on the development level of China's foreign trade.
