Abstract:The deep integration of digital technology and traditional industry is the current trend of industrial development.SThis research constructs the evaluation index system of digital transformation of Chinese regional manufacturing industry from three dimensions of efficiency improvement, innovation driven and green development. It uses the entropy method as a measurement method to measure, and further analyzes the factors of regional manufacturing digital transformation from the internal factors and external environment.SThe results show that: (1) the overall level of digital transformation of Chinese manufacturing industry is on the rise, but the regional development is extremely unbalanced. The level of digital transformation is high in the east, and low in the West. The overall trend is a graded distribution.S(2) At the national level, human capital and economic environment play an important role in promoting the digital transformation of manufacturing industry, while capital investment and foreign trade environment play a negative role.S(3) At the regional level, due to different location advantages, the influence of various factors has also changed. Compared with the national effect, human capital has the greatest impact on the western region; The institutional environment has a significant positive impact on the central region, while the impact of foreign trade environment on the eastern region is diluted. According to the above conclusions, this research puts forward some suggestions from the aspects of optimizing the industrial layout, reasonable allocation of funds, balancing the use of policies, accelerating high-quality economic development, increasing education investment, optimizing the structure of foreign trade and increasing the intensity of infrastructure construction to better promote the digital transformation of regional manufacturing industry.
