Abstract:Based on the reality in the development process of family firm and the governance theory of family firm, this paper analyzes the impact of the involvement of non-family executives on the input of innovation by introducing organizational slack.After empirical analysis by using samples of family listed companies from 2008 to 2020, the results indicate that the involvement of non-family executives will reduce the R&D, And the different types of organizational slack has heterogeneous regulating effect on the innovation input, in which unabsorbed slack will strengthen the relationship between involvement of non-family executives with R&D while the absorbed slack has a negative regulating effect.
