Senior Executives’ Environmental Awareness, Dynamic Capabilities and Corporate Green Innovation Performance——the Moderating Effect of Environmental Uncertainty

基于高阶理论、资源基础观与资源依赖理论，以135家制造业企业为样本，探讨高管环保认知对绿色创新绩效的影响机制，以及动态能力的中介效应和环境不确定性的调节效应。结果表明，高管环保认知正向促进绿色创新绩效的提升，感知机会能力、整合利用能力及重构转变能力在其中起到部分中介作用。环境不确定性调节了高管环保认知与整合利用能力以及高管环保认知与重构转变能力间的关系，即环境不确定性越高，高管环保认知对整合利用能力和重构转变能力的影响效应越强。

Abstract:

Based on high-level theories, resource-based views, and resource-dependent theories, this paper uses 135 manufacturing companies as samples to explore the impact mechanism of senior executives’ environmental awareness on green innovation performance, as well as the mediating effect of dynamic capabilities and the moderating effect of environmental uncertainty .The results show that senior executives’ environmental awareness is promoting the improvement of green innovation performance, and the ability to perceive opportunities, integrated utilization ability,and transformation ability play a partial mediating role.Environmental uncertainty moderates the relationship between senior executives’environmental awareness and integrated utilization ability, as well as the relationship between senior management's environmental awareness and transformation ability. That is to say, the higher the environmental uncertainty, the stronger the impact of senior management's environmental awareness on the integrated utilization ability and transformation ability.
