Abstract:Under the background of green development, whether enterprises can use green innovation to improve enterprise performance is an important problem to be solved. Based on the theory of natural resource-based view, this paper takes A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2010 to 2019 as the research sample to empirically test the impact of green innovation on enterprise performance. Also, testing the role of government subsidy, financial-industrial integration and environmental regulation in this process. Our results achieve three main conclusions: First, green innovation has a significant positive impact on enterprise performance;Second, the government subsidies strengthen the relationship between green innovation and enterprise performance; Third, financial-industrial integration and environmental regulation weaken the relationship between green innovation and enterprise performance. The research in this paper enriches the existing research results of green innovation, and provides beneficial enlightenment for improving the effectiveness of enterprise green innovation and promoting enterprise performance.
