Abstract:Based on the C-D production function, this paper uses two indicators of innovation input and innovation output to measure the level of technological innovation, and constructs a double logarithm model including international investment and international trade variables of outward foreign direct investment, foreign direct investment, export trade and import trade. Based on the two dimensions of innovation quantity and innovation quality, this paper studies the impact of international technology spillover channels on China"s technological innovation. The results show that both ODI and export trade promote the quantity of innovation input and the quality of innovation output; FDI only has a positive impact on the quantity of innovation input and the quality of innovation output; Import trade has no significant effect on the quantity and quality of innovation input and output in China, but has a negative effect on the quality of innovation output in the western region. This paper puts forward some policy suggestions, including accelerating the construction of a new pattern of domestic and international double circulation to expand ODI, actively implementing the "import strategy", increasing export trade, strengthening intellectual property protection, and actively seeking international cooperation.
