Abstract:Based on knowledge-based theory and attention theory, this study constructs a theoretical model of cross-border search, knowledge integration, strategic flexibility and enterprise innovation performance. SPSS23.0 and AMOS24.0 software are used to perform empirical tests. The results show that there is a significant inverted u-shaped relationship between cross-cognitive technology knowledge search, cross-regional technical knowledge search, cross-cognitive market knowledge search and enterprise innovation performance, while the inverted u-shaped relationship between cross-regional market knowledge search and enterprise innovation performance is not significant. Knowledge integration has a mediating effect between the four dimensions of cross-border search and enterprise innovation performance. Strategic flexibility plays a moderating role in the inverted u-shaped relationships between cross-cognitive technology knowledge search, cross-cognitive market knowledge search, cross-regional market knowledge search and enterprise innovation performance. These conclusions not only reveal that there is an inflection point of cross-border search’s performance and the significance of proper search, but also provide some guidance for enterprise management practice.
