The Impact of Technology Embargo Events on Researchers’ Disruptive Technology Innovation Engagement Behavior

科研人员对于颠覆性技术的突破有着至关重要的作用。本文基于事件系统理论和情感事件理论，采用实证分析，探讨中美贸易摩擦下技术封锁事件对科研人员颠覆性技术创新投入行为的影响，引入和谐式工作激情与强迫式工作激情双重中介路径来解释两者之间的作用机制。结果表明：技术封锁事件的关键性正向影响科研人员的创新投入行为，和谐式工作激情在两者之间起着中介作用；技术封锁事件的颠覆性通过和谐-强迫式工作激情的双重中介对科研人员的创新投入行为产生显著正向影响。

Abstract:

Researchers play a vital role in disruptive technology breakthroughs. Based on the event system theory and affective event theory, this paper uses empirical analysis to explore the impact of technology embargo events on researchers’ disruptive technology innovation engagement behavior under Sino-US trade frictions, and introduces a dual mediation path of harmonious work passion and obsessive work passion to explain the mechanism between them. The results show that the criticality of technology embargo events positively affects researchers’ innovation engagement behavior, and harmonious work passion mediates between them. The disruption of technology embargo events has a significant positive impact on researchers' innovation engagement behavior through the dual mediation of harmonious and obsessive work passion.
