Abstract:Under the background of digital economy, scientific measurement of the degree of digital transformation of China"s regional manufacturing industry and in-depth discussion of the key factors and driving paths of digital transformation are very important for the digital transformation, upgrading and high-quality development of regional manufacturing industry. This paper constructs the evaluation index system of digital transformation of manufacturing industry from three aspects: the transformation of digital technology, digital innovation ability and digital benefit and then evaluates it by combining the improved entropy weight method and gray correlation model. On this basis, fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsqca) is used to study the path choice of digital transformation from the "configuration effect" of technology, market and government. It is found that the regional development of China"s manufacturing digital transformation is unbalanced, but it still follows the gradient spatial distribution pattern of East, middle and West. There are five driving paths for the high degree of digital transformation of manufacturing industry in China, which can be summarized into two adaptation modes: resource-oriented and market-oriented transformation, while there are four paths for the low degree of digital transformation. The conclusion of this study is helpful to reveal the complex interactive nature of multiple factors behind the digital transformation of manufacturing industry, and bring beneficial practical enlightenment and policy suggestions for the digital transformation of China"s manufacturing industry.
