Brain science is not only the most cutting-edge field of life science, but also one of the most difficult "scientific fortresses" for human beings. The world"s major economies led by the United States had put forward their own brain projects to seize the commanding height of future development. In order to provide reference for the organization and implementation of national major science and technology projects in related fields, this study systematically reviews the decision-making, organizational structure and main management mechanism of the BRAIN Initiative.
