Abstract:Taking aeronautical equipment manufacturing companies as an example, using patent cooperation data, through social network analysis and negative binomial regression analysis, this paper studies the influence of the structural characteristics of patent cooperation network on enterprise exploratory innovation and the intermediary effect of the knowledge base in it. The research results show that degree centrality, structural holes and enterprise exploratory innovation are significantly positively correlated, and the knowledge base plays a part of the mediating effect between the two. Therefore, aviation equipment manufacturing enterprises should actively expand the scale and frequency of patent cooperation and strive to develop toward the center of patent cooperation network. At the same time, enterprises should expand the channels to obtain heterogeneous knowledge, encourage knowledge exchange within enterprises, enhance knowledge accumulation, and promote the development of enterprise exploratory innovation.
